about

More knee-based guitar playing. ;-)

I know this sounds simple, like it took me an hour to do in total. It actually took all week.

Kept adding words, tracks, sounds. It was a mess.

God bless the web-perusing of friends and twitter. See the original blog post for links: bcoleman.com?p=742.

Not that I didn’t know this, but sometimes you get so lost in the wood you can’t see the trees and it helps to be reminded.

Que much editing, simplifying (hence knee-played guitar), etc. etc… Sometimes you gotta just play the blues maaaaan.

lyrics

I’ve got love on my mind, I’ve got blood on my hands but I can’t see it.
I’ve got love on my mind, I’ve got blood on my hands but I can’t see it.
I’ve been changing my hair and my hands are too excited to heat.

They have changed my room three times without my noticing.
They have changed my room three times without my noticing.
They have called me a million names, now I am done pretending.

Three times is a charm but a fourth is just taking the piss,
Three times is a charm but a fourth is just taking the piss,
There is something in my rear-view mirror that has ceased to exist.

If you’ve nothing to say worth saying you’d better shut your mouth,
If you’ve nothing to say worth saying you’d better shut your mouth,
See that’s the trouble with the modernity, every dickhead on the planet’s giving out.

But if you’ve something to say worth saying, man, you’d better scream and shout.
