I used to think that my thoughts were the strangest of dreams Till I realised what the songs that you sing in your dreams mean. It means that you're learning, it means you compare, To the ways in the main that connect what you know With what you feel from life. You search for the meaning, the sonics of science And threads from the tale of souls that you're shaping, Balls that you're breaking, Sucked from the void that becomes the morass I want you to know now. I want you to know I want you to know now. I want you to know. I laugh at people and they often take it in vain Or realise that it's nothing to laugh at a joke. And it's wiser to smile and be thought of as stupid, Than to vomit your words and remove all the doubt. See we've been trained to advantage We've been dressed for a purpose And we perform like dogs when the rabbit goes by. But it feels like it's right And it's hard to reverse The course of nature that naturally flows from our words, I want you to know now. I want you to know I want you to know now. If you've got something on your mind You'd better take the time to come and talk about it.

Working up your week and the boss man says, "Son, time to hit the dole queue". Flat out on your back it's a hard knock, I figure it's time to make some music. Everybody moving and we don't stop, Just mind the bite don't break your skin in a minute now. Welcome to the Breakdown. Everybody wondering where the cats gone baby, Just mind the bite don't break your skin. Time to make a plan, get the beat pumping, Till then we'll be going nowhere. Everybody moving and we don't stop, Just mind the bite don't break your skin in a minute now. Welcome to the Breakdown. Fed up of lock down, we'll be breaking out, Dancing with a screw loose. Buzz is taking hold, now we're on a roll, Welcome to the Breakdown. Everybody moving and we don't stop, Just mind the bite don't break your skin in a minute now. Welcome to the Breakdown.

False North 03:24
Hail, Hail to the world, To the shining light, To the dark out yonder. The stars of the city, You look so pretty, Turning in circles, Like destiny arriving. Hold on to nothing, So nothing can harm you, So nothing can hurt you. So nothing can break you, So desperate to say yes, So desperate to impress, So desperate to be loved, But too scared to say so. | will change your mind, I will kiss your tears, I will break your heart, Then I'll disappear. I am nothing, Nothing without you, Change is gonna come though But I think that it'll make us stronger. Welcome to False North. Eyes on the big prize, Life on a small stage, With nothing to be afraid of. Hold on to nothing, So nothing can harm you, So nothing can hurt you. So nothing can break you, Last drink downing, Last bus calling, Lost in all these people, Bruised battered and bleeding. All out in the open, The key that just won't turn, The lock that we break, The door we kick down, Destiny arriving. Hold on to nothing, So nothing can harm you, So nothing can hurt you, So nothing can break you.

I've watched the hours burn through time like I was lost in motion, I've got a hole in my head now. I'm looking out so I can see what I am coming to, But there's nobody out there. In a different style I seem to place myself in odd situations, I don't know where I ought to be. I don't know if I'm sane or mad, thick or thin, whipped or listless, It's a crazy situation. She knows, she knows, I'm all shook up. And that is why my cup is drunk. My cup is drunk because my heart is parched, But I know she's not the end or start. There's something about the way she looks, the way she moves, That enraptures me. There's something in the smile she gives at night, Something extraordinary. She's a changing face, a looking glass, a mild harmonic, And I'm crawling to be hers. She knows, she knows, I'm all shook up. And that is why my cup is drunk. My cup is drunk because my heart is parched, But I know she's not the end or start. I know, I know, She's all shook up. And that is why her cup is drunk. Her cup is drunk because her heart is parched, But she knows I'm not the end or start. Then she says she's lost her mind, And I don't know why but I'm losing mine.

Crossfire 03:37
Hello Princess. What's my nature ? Where's my welcome ? Where'd that come from ? You've been caught in the Crossfire between My good intentions, my bad judgement their bad dreams. Who's to say if they really meant it, Or really saw it, or thought it, or felt it ? Where's my princess, My one and only ? Devoured by something you've got no control over. Life will get you down, It'll turn your smile upside down, When you've got nothing left to give That's when your guts will bring you in. Read it in lights and say goodnight This is the part I'll take, I'll break my heart on it. We got lost inside our own little world. And that's alright most of the time but we need to be careful. When you're a little too precious, When you're a little too sensitive I take no notice, I take no notice. Life will get you down, It'll turn your smile upside down, When you've got nothing left to give That's when your guts will bring you in. Read it in lights and say goodnight This is the part I'll take, I'll break my heart on it.

Your Hands Were Made For Working, Your tension stored but not forgotten I talk my chain is turning My compass foiled by earthed rock Your mind is overthrown Your heart is full but not forlorn And I am overcome And I am going to walk through this one. Your hands were made for working I am no foil no lock of fact It is your brain you're burning And every word we work is right Your eyes are overthrown Your heart is beautiful on its own And I am overcome But I am going to walk through this one And every breath you take is more. And every route you break is born. I am overthrown Your tension is turned but its not forlorn And I am overcome But I am going to bleed through this one.

Somebody tried to make me take a look into the box The box was not the subject The box was neither bad nor good. But what it contained was a bomb of sorts. The situation changed too fast to keep a handle on, Acusations flying like confetti at a wedding. Babe am I still your No. 1? Here's to the new year. It should be better than the last. Temperature changes while you wonder at the reason, Something escapes and it all rolls out of control, Like a drunk on a free bar. Still I'm standing here Trying to remember Trying to recall how the demons surfaced in her mind. Babe am I still your No. 1? Here's to the new year. It should be better than the last. Something distracts and the flood gates open, Vitriol goes flying like it's going out of fashion, I wish you could control yourself girl. Your statement is made and you seem satisifed But nothings resolved and I'm left with a rage inside. Babe am I still your no. 1?. Here's to the new year. It should be better than the last.

Somewhere 03:54
Sometimes I'm lost in confusion, Sometimes I don't know what to do. Sometimes I'm breaking the back of the ages. When we'd spark off we'd go like fireworks, Then like a sign I read the warning, "You cannot buy back your life", And I felt as though I'd answered my calling. Somewhere, there's a star that shines for you, And I don't know what to do. These are the tangled lines of my dissent. These are the one-off shots that show I'm hell-bent. I have lost my mind and I don't care. I have chased, I have lost, I have landed. I have staked my claim and then abandoned it, I have lost the right to keep you hanging on. Somewhere, there's a star that shines for you, And I don't know what to do. "You don't want to say you love me", she says "What is it about me that you don't want me ?" And he says, "You don't want to say you love me, But I know that I'm nothing without you." Somewhere, there's a star that shines for you, And I don't know what to do.

I've made it out of this winter, Spring brings new hopes to play, And I hope I can return, I hope I can learn not to be afraid. My friend and I have grown distant, There's too much history to not, But I hope we can return to being just friendly. Until you make up your mind This is a bad place to find. All of these reasons are no good The turning of seasons brings me to book And I try to retain a semblance of reason. Until you make up your mind This is a bad place to find Pack up your bags and elope Open the door walk through it and choke And your mind is a mess Your heart's like a graveyard Until you make up your mind This is a bad place to make up your mind This is a bad place to make up your mind This is a bad place to find. 17 hours come to play The bus does arrive but you're locked to the bay And your tension just takes you Clearing your mind of delay. Until you make up your mind This is a bad place to find.

You can read about the money, And talk about the past. Design your better motives, And cheat them to the last, But every message you could give them, Is then poisoned by your recent chequered past. We are counting out the money, Evaluating shame, We are trying to revise the dues, The passions we berated, We are locked out of your room, We are banished to the coming gloom. This is the last saloon for dancing, This is the church of second chances, It's alright. When you realise the difference, That you make on funeral day, When you try to take your load off, You are shocked and dismayed, To find your credit is no good, And you've been pawned of everything that you believed. We are counting out the money, Evaluating shame, We are trying to revise the dues, The passions we berated, We are locked out of your room, We are banished to the coming gloom. This is the last saloon for dancing, This is the church of second chances, It's alright. Help me to understand, Help me lend my hands, I am no good.

The Girl with the Sun in Her Hair, Got burned by the light of it. Can't talk in public, Surefire crossed wires. Tears on her pillow, Sparkling in lamplight, Hiding from something, But there's a flame that remains. Even in times of trouble, When it's all we can do just to stand up. Please break out. Sometimes we all lose faith, All we can do is just break out. Please stand up. She's dancing light on her feet, Feeling through photographs, An esteem that she never learned, A hope for the future. Tears on her pillow, Sparkling in lamplight, Her eyes start glowing, Hope arriving. Even in times of trouble, When it's all we can do just to stand up. Please break out. Sometimes we all lose faith, All we can do is just break out. Please stand up.
