about

This weeks tune is another instrumental piece written for the short film ‘End of the Reel’. I got a piano crescendo in here, which I like, and OH! It’s got a triangle! Funny the things that excite me these days…

I post this in a hurry, running out the door to get to Galway and the Roisin Dubh. I’m supporting O Emperor there tonight, who’ve just recorded a song with the RTE Symphony Orchestra, which is cool in and of itself, and made cooler by the fact that it’s a great tune. Close your eyes and you could almost imagine you were at The Last Waltz. www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_Gjy-tK10M.
